March 1, 2024- March 31, 2024
2024-25 Continuing Registration March 1, 2024 through March 31, 2024.

A digital packet must be completed for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2024-25 school year. This annual digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection.

Current PUSD Preschool students: If your student(s) are eligible to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten (K) for the 2024-25 school year, you will be required to complete New Student Enrollment which opens on April 1st, 2024.

DIRECTIONS FOR REGISTRATION PROCESS

Packets are completed digitally using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. Please keep in mind there are two pages to review beyond the point where you can print required documents. A packet is considered finalized after reviewing those last two pages.

  1. Login and complete the digital registration packet online at the ParentVue portal
  2. Once parents/guardians have completed the online registration, please download and complete any required forms and follow site directions for processing and collection. MEDICATION FORMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED UNTIL SCHOOL BEGINS IN AUGUST FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR.

Extended Student Services (ESS) Program
The Extended Student Services (ESS) Program extends Poway Unified School District's educational program into the hours before and after school, and during school vacations, for elementary school aged children. ESS provides a comprehensive program of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities. ESS is fee based. Please contact the ESS Supervisor at your child's school for information or to enroll.

ESS is a voluntary use program. All PUSD elementary schools have an Extended Student Services program on their campus. Our organization works diligently to accommodate and serve working families in need of before and after school care. A student's enrollment at an elementary school does not guarantee them ESS enrollment. As a growing organization, each ESS site may experience limitations that factor into the enrollment capacity and may prohibit the acceptance of additional students at any given time. Learn more about ESS here  To apply go here.

Transportation
The State of California has ruled that transportation for regular education students is not an integral part of the education process and therefore does not fully reimburse school districts for this expense, the Poway Unified School District offers transportation services for regular education students on a fee basis only. Check out the Transportation website for information on Busing details.
Bus pass application notices are mailed to the parents of known eligible students in June to prepare for the upcoming school year. Applications are processed and bus passes are issued in time for school to start at the end of August.
Visit the Transportation page for more information and bus passes

Vaccinations
All children are required to have their vaccinations fully completed/up to date before enrolling in preschool unless exempted as provided by law. Under a new law known as SB 277, beginning January 1, 2016, exemptions based on personal/religious beliefs will no longer be an option for vaccines required for school entry in California.
