Career Technical Education (CTE): Preparing Students for the Future

Career Technical Education (CTE) equips students with the academic knowledge, technical skills, and hands-on training needed to excel in their chosen careers. Students also develop essential employability skills, such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving, that are highly valued in the workforce.

Poway Unified School District (PUSD) offers a wide range of CTE pathways across twelve Industry Sectors. Each career pathway is a carefully designed sequence of courses that guides students through progressive levels of technical skill development and career exploration.
