Seal of BiLiteracy
The Seal of Biliteracy has been established in support of the following purposes:
- To encourage students to maintain an extended sequence of study that leads to high levels of proficiency in two or more languages;
- To recognize the cultural and linguistic diversity of our San Diego community;
- To provide employers with a method by which to identify prospective employees with languages and biliteracy skills; and
- To provide universities with a method by which to confer academic credit to ap
- applicants seeking admission.
