POWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

  

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE POWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT RELATIVE TO THE ADOPTION OF INFORMATION MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC IN THE FORM OF AN ANNUAL REPORTABLE FEES REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 IN COMPLIANCE WITH GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 66001 AND 66006

 

Please be advised the Board of Education (“Board”) of the Poway Unified School District, at its regular meeting to be held on December 17, 2024, will review the Annual Report for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 (“Report”) in compliance with Government Code Section 66006.

 

The Board meeting begins at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 17, 2024 at the Poway Unified School District, Community Room, located at 15250 Avenue of Science, San Diego, California 92128.  The Report will be considered at such time by the Board.

 

The Report will be available for public review for a period of at least 15 calendar days beginning November 20, 2024, online at www.powayusd.com and in the Planning Department of the Poway Unified School District located at 13626 Twin Peaks Rd Building 900 Poway, CA 92064 and is herein incorporated by reference.

Notice of Public Hearing Proposed 2024-25 Annual Service Plan and Annual Budget Plan for the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA)

In accordance with the provisions of the Education Code Section California Education Code Section 56205(b)(2)

you are hereby notified of the preparation of the proposed SELPA Local Plan of the Poway Unified School District, for school year 2024-25.

 

The annual service plan and annual budget plan shall be available for public inspection on May 23, 2024, to June 3, 2024, 8:00 AM to 5:00PM.  The proposed SELPA Local Plan will be available on the district’s website:  https://www.powayusd.com/apps/pages/SELPA-local-plan

 

YOU WILL THEREFORE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Governing Board of the Poway Unified School District will conduct a public hearing of the proposed SELPA Local Plan on June 4, 2024, 6:00 PM, Poway Unified School District, Community Room.  Public comment instructions available at: https://www.powayusd.com/apps/pages/public-comments

Notice of Public Hearing Proposed 2024-25 Budget

In accordance with the provisions of the Education Code Section 42103, you are hereby notified of the preparation of the proposed Annual Financial and Budget Report of the Poway Unified School District, for school year 2024-25.

The proposed budget, computed district tax requirement, and any recommendations made by the Superintendent of Schools, San Diego County, shall be available for public inspection on May 30, 2024, to June 3, 2024, 8:00 AM to 5:00PM.  The proposed budget will be available on the district’s website: https://www.powayusd.com/apps/pages/finance
