An important part of PUSD's Superintendent Search has been receiving feedback from staff, families, and the community regarding what they would like to see in the next Superintendent of the Poway Unified School District. This feedback process was conducted by the executive search firm, McPherson & Jacobson, through an online survey and stakeholder meetings.
On Monday, September 9, in Open Session of a Special Meeting, representatives of McPherson & Jacobson shared the results of the online survey and stakeholder meetings with the PUSD Board of Education. Participants were asked what is good about the District and the Community and what qualities, skills, and characteristics were important in a new leader. Respondents were also asked about opportunities for improvement and significant challenges facing PUSD.
An Executive Summary and Survey Results can be found in the following slide presentation:
The results of the survey and stakeholder meetings will inform the questions and desired qualifications for the finalist interviews.
