A reminder, PUSD will be hosting our second Safety Summit of the year on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the PUSD District Office (located at 15250 Avenue of Science, San Diego, CA 92128) focusing on the topic of Social Media & Online Safety.
Guest speaker Jamie Nunez, Western Region Manager at Common Sense, will share a practical guide with families focusing on media choice, digital literacy and citizenship, as well as the habits and skills that give young people agency over their digital lives.
The event will be hosted in-person in the District Office community room as well as live streamed and recorded for those who cannot attend in person. The live stream and recording will be available on the PUSD Board of Education YouTube channel and can be accessed by clicking here.
