Dear Park Village Families,
It is with great excitement and a humble heart that I share my appointment as the new Principal of Park Village Elementary for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, pending Board approval. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful families and dedicated staff at this site. I have already been in close contact with several district leaders and school site staff to ensure a smooth transition into the next academic year.
With 24 years of experience in the field of education, I have been fortunate to hold various roles that have shaped my school leadership. Currently serving as an assistant principal in PUSD, and having previously worked in the district office and on sites in Cajon Valley, Inglewood and Los Angeles, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Park Village.
I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you and starting our journey together in supporting our students to reach their fullest potential. Having taught multiple grade-levels, with students varying in ability levels, I am extremely motivated to work alongside you to build on the solid foundation you have set for our learners. Together, we will continue the dedication and commitment that the Park Village staff and families have shown for our students as we prepare them for a successful future.
I live in San Carlos, near Mission Trails, with my 17 year-old son and dog, Gracie. My 21 year-old daughter lives nearby and will be graduating from SDSU this spring. While not at school, you can find me spending time with family, going to a musical, or gardening.
My door will always open to support you and your students. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet each and every one of you and our incredible Penguins in the weeks to come. Together, we will make the 2023-2024 school year truly fantastic!
