On Wednesday, August 16th we will welcome all of our Sundevils back to The Mount! We are excited for the first day of school and look forward to a successful 2023-24 school year for each and every student!

The schedule for the first day of school is modified so that we can welcome our newest Sundevils to The Mount and help them to experience The Sundevil Way. If possible, it is recommended that families drop off their freshman or new students on the first day of school to participate in Orientation. At Orientation students have the opportunity to learn some of our MC traditions and culture, get connected with a Link Crew student leader they can connect with throughout the year, ask any questions they may have in a small group setting, and tour the campus before other students arrive so they feel comfortable navigating campus. If your student will ride the bus on the first day, they will be able to participate in a condensed orientation when they arrive.

9th grade and students new to MCHS – Arrive at 8:30am and go directly to the gym for our special Orientation. This is a Sundevil tradition to help our new students feel comfortable on campus and begin to learn the Sundevil Way. Non-freshmen will participate in a separate group during orientation.

10-12th grade students arrive for school to start classes at 10:30am.
