Poway Unified School District Welcomes Two New Leaders

The Poway Unified School District (PUSD) is pleased to name Eric Dill as the Associate Superintendent of Business Support Services and Josue Reyna as the new Chief Communications and Community Engagement Officer.  

Eric Dill, Associate Superintendent, Business Support Services

Eric Dill has 23 years of experience in school business and leadership positions, with 13 of those years serving in a chief business officer or associate superintendent role. His most recent positions include Associate Superintendent, Business Support Services at Carlsbad Unified School District, Chief Business Officer at Santa Clara County Office of Education, and Chief Business Official at Santa Clara Unified School District.

During his time in fiscal management and leadership, Mr. Dill has successfully managed district budgets, fiscal stabilization plans, and multi-year projections. He also has extensive experience managing large bond programs and facilities modernization programs, and is recognized as a state-wide leader in advising district superintendents and chief business officials on challenging financial issues. Mr. Dill is excited to join Team PUSD and will assume the role as permanent Associate Superintendent of Business Support Services on February 3.

Josué Reyna, Chief Communications and Community Engagement Officer

Joining the team as the Chief Communications and Community Engagement Officer, Josué Reyna brings with him 10 years of experience in education and school public relations. Most recently, he served as the Director of Communications and Community Engagement at the Menifee Union School District.

Mr. Reyna excels in strategic planning, organizational strategy, and is proficient in driving integrated, high-level communication initiatives. He is recognized as a leader in his profession and is often a resource to others in the field. He is looking forward to bringing these skills to Poway Unified School District in a leadership capacity.
