What is CTE?

Career Technical Education (CTE) prepares students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and specific training necessary to be successful in future careers. Transferrable employability skills are developed that students are able to use in the world of work. 
 
Poway Unified School District CTE offers a variety of pathways in twelve Industry Sectors.
A career pathway is a distinct set of course sequences that take students through phases of technical learning.
