Welcome! We are pleased to share our new and improved website. As of July 2023, powayusd.com and all school and department websites have transitioned to a new website platform, powered by Edlio. This was necessary due to our current website with Kentico approaching end of life. We invite you to explore the new site!

What overall changes can I expect to see?

The new websites will feature an updated and modern look, enhanced features, and a more mobile-friendly interface. The menu tabs will remain the same, but the choices in the dropdown may have been condensed. There is a new "Find it Fast" feature at the top of each site to help you search for specific information using keywords or by accessing links to popular pages. The main homepage will also provide quick links to frequently visited web pages, such as enrollment, calendars, contact information, and more. Additionally, the sites are much more user-friendly for PUSD staff who are responsible for editing the websites and keeping the content updated.

How do I find specific departments sites/pages or school websites from the District homepage?

Instead of listing out every single department in the menu, you can now click on the District menu tab then Department Directory for a link to each department's page. Schools can be found under the School menu tab, then click on Schools Directory, which provides links to every school’s website as well as office and attendance numbers in one place. Underneath the main video on the District homepage, you can also access schools from the “Our Schools and Programs” section.

Where can I find the new url to my school website?

Go to our school directory page to find the new URL for your school website. If you have your school’s website bookmarked, please update the link. You can also view and download a master list of the new urls here. Previous school website links will not be available after 12pm PST on July 18, 2023.

Bookmarked Links

If you have links that are bookmarked from the prior website, you will need to remove those from your system and save the new updated links.

 

Quick Links for High Traffic Pages

There are six buttons located on the main video on the District homepage, which take visitors to some of our most high-traffic pages: District icons currently include: Employment, Enrollment, Calendars, MyPlan, HelpDesk, and Contact Us.

How do I get to MyPlan?

There is a quicklink button on the main video image as well as the “Find it Fast” box for easy access to MyPlan. MyPlan is the dashboard where students and staff can access a variety of applications such as Canvas, Google Drive, and more.

 

How do I search for things I can’t find on the website?

The new websites have a search function called “Find it Fast” (magnifying glass icon) at the top of each site. Simply type whatever you are looking for, and you will find what you are looking for! In the past, we know many people liked to search by using Google. For example, you may have typed “PUSD enrollment” to locate the link to our Enrollment page. For the time being, if you do that, your search may produce a link that has this message when you go to the page: “404 - File or directory not found”. Until Google catches up, please use the Find it Fast site search function on the website! 

How do I get a bus pass?

Go to the Find it Fast box and click the Bus Passes button.

How do I check school breakfast and lunch menus?

Go to the Find it Fast box and click the School Lunches button.

 

Where can I find Board Meeting agendas and information?

Click on the Board menu tab, then Board Meeting Agendas & Minutes. Or you can scroll down to our Learn More section.

Visitors can also find links to Maps & Boundaries, School Plans, and Volunteer information in this section.

As you're navigating on internal pages, menu bars have been shifted onto the right side of the page. Announcements & Upcoming Events (all school websites)

Schools update this section with the latest announcements and upcoming events; click on the “Show All” buttons to see additional announcements and events. In the “Show All Events” view, if a school has linked multiple calendars (i.e. main school calendar, performing arts, and athletics calendars, visitors can switch or select multiple calendars.
