What are visitors saying?

Joe,
Thank you so much for hosting Meredith and me at Design39Campus last week. It was a pleasure to both speak with you about the history and thinking behind the work you’re doing, and to see your school in action. We were blown away by the quality and design of the facilities, classrooms, and makeries. It was also wonderful to speak with a few of your students and see how engaged and excited they are.  As we continue to move forward in our own school design process, we feel we have much to learn from you about both creation of space and of a culture in which balance of knowledge, skills, and dispositions is emphasized.  You gave us language to so many practices we have been seeing, and the conversation that we had regarding the balance between process and product has provided a great deal of clarity for us. We are confident that our visit to your school will be a transformative one for our team as we move more deeply into school design.

Thank you again for your generosity of time and information and for making us feel so welcomed.

Best,
Jason

On behalf of the Innovation Design Team from the Windsor Central Supervisory Union in Vermont, I would like to thank you for your time, knowledge, and enthusiasm during our visit to your campus earlier this month. The Design 39 Campus was enlightening; your community has designed something truly innovative and special. We came back full of ideas, questions, and energy as to how we can transform our schools from good to great.

Thank you again for your time and attentiveness to our needs during the visit. We look forward to maintaining contact as we move forward with our transformation.
