ASB Communications Committee

Public Relations Commissioners: 

  • coordinates school-wide communication through posters, bulletin announcements, audio announcements, etc.
  • prepares and distributes monthly activities calendar
  • updates monthly calendar in RBHS Faculty workroom
  • establishes comprehensive, theme based programs to promote ASB events
  • coordinates sign-making and sign-hanging crews
  • serves as morning "voice of the Broncos" over the announcements
  • works with Community Marketing commissioner to write press releases
  • maintains all publicity equipment and supplies; works with secretary to replenish supplies
  • assists in all ASB functions

Community Marketing Commissioner: 

  • writes press releases about ASB events for newspapers
  • helps coordinate production of Bronco TV
  • oversees and updates ASB portion of rbhs.org
  • liaison with RBHS Web Master
  • regulates RBHS marquees
  • attends and supports monthly PTSA meetings and acts as student representative
  • works closely with Public Relations commissioners to market ASB events
  • generates interest about RBHS within the community
  • assists in all ASB functions



  • collects all copies of the silver spur
  • helps coordinate production of Bronco TV
  • collects all newspaper articles relating to RBHS
  • takes photos and arranges for video documentations of all ASB events
  • coordinates the collection of photographs for ASB athletic/recognition cases
  • responsible for current photographs of all ASB members
  • keeps a chronological scrapbook of all ASB events
  • coordinates end of year video for recognition assembly
  • works with Community Marketing commissioner to supply images
  • assists in all ASB functions


Outreach Commissioners: 

  • acts as liaison to Link Crew
  • assists with Bronco Camp
  • provides freshmen with opportunities to get involved with activities that will increase their enjoyment of RBHS
  • organizes alumni reception at Homecoming
  • serves as co-chair for HRC and Multi-Cultural fair
  • maintains alumni database
  • coordinates alumni relations
  • works closely with Human Relations Commissioner to coordinate sophomore Human Relations Conference generate and implements new ideas related to class relations, community involvement, etc.
  • coordinates all ASB volunteer work in the community
  • assists in all ASB functions

Human Relations Commissioners: 

  • serves as an active member of the Human Relations Committee
  • coordinates sophomore Human Relations Conference
  • coordinates Multi-Cultural Faires
  • promotes student awareness of cultural diversity
  • generates new ideas to promote aware of human relations issues
  • assists in all ASB functions

Elections Commissioner: 

  • organizes and executes all elections (Class Officers, dances, etc.)
  • solicits teacher nominations and distributes invitations to apply
  • selects interview committee with Activity Director
  • serves on all candidate interview committees
  • prepares candidate statements and arranges for candidates to present statements to the student body
  • oversees RBHS Homecoming and Prom Court activities
  • responsible for ordering all election supplies and maintaining an adequate supply of scantrons and scoring sheets
  • assists in the counting of all ballots and maintaining the integrity of elections
  • plans all candidate meetings
  • prepares and updates ASB applications
  • assists in all ASB functions
