2019-2020 TK Interest Wait List Information:
Parents of children with a fifth birthday between June 1st and September 1st, 2019 who wish to enroll their child into a TK class, MUST place their name on a District Interest Wait List. After March 1, 2019, at 8:00 AM, go to the District Website and select "TK Interest Wait List" to put your child's name on the list. The assigned TK school site will notify parents on the Interest List starting in June, or later in the summer, of an opening in TK. The parent will then be given 48 hours to enroll. Due to increased numbers of students required to enroll in TK, please note space is very limited and will be determined on a first-come, first served basis. PUSD is aware of the amendment to California Education Code 48000(c) which permits districts the option to enroll students who turn 5 years of age after December 2 to be admitted to the Transitional Kindergarten program. After a review of this option, our District enrolls only students who meet the cutoff date of December 2 into the Transitional Kindergarten program.

Friday April 26th 1:30 to 2:30 pm, Turtleback Learning Resource Center.
Please join us for an informational meeting regarding the Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten programs, important reminders and changes to the program.  Adults only, please.

To determine which program your child is eligible for, please use the following guidelines:
Kindergarten 5th Birthday: Sept. 2, 2018 to Sept. 1, 2019
Transitional Kindergarten 5th Birthday: Sept. 2, 2019 to Dec. 2, 2019
