You won’t want to miss our annual FALL CARNIVAL!  This event promises to be not only great family fun, but also a great opportunity to donate your time or baked goods!  Please contact your room parent or the office regarding volunteering at a game booth or donating pumpkins, cakes or cookies!
Halloween wouldn't be complete without seeing our WILDCATS in their Halloween Costumes!  Our parade will take place first thing in the morning; you may send your child in their costume, with regular school clothes underneath.  Remember, all school dress codes still apply and we will not allow masks, weapons or gory costumes.  Face paint becomes itchy and can run, so is not advised.   Please check with your teachers if you have specific questions regarding costumes.  Parents are invited to see the parade; please arrive before the gates close at 8:10 and proceed directly to the lower field unless you are helping the class walk down.
Calling all Sundance Parents and Alumni. We will be celebrating with our whole school community at a special Friday Flag on November, 1 at 8:10. Later that evening, 6 – 8 PM, please join us at Koi Zen for an adults-night-out to benefit our school and catch-up with old friends. We will have some great pictures from the past at both events.  Hope you can attend one or both events.  See the attached flyer for more information about Koi Zen.

BIRDING PROGRAM For Grades 3-5 Volunteers Needed!
We are one of the only schools in the county that provides an opportunity for our students to participate in this very fun and educational activity.  Palomar Audubon donated 20 sets of binoculars. On Wednesdays Alice Holmes, local birding expert, takes groups of kids onto the field to spot the plethora of birds we have on or near campus.  She could use your help.  If you can volunteer your time from noon to 1:15 on Wednesdays we would be very grateful.  The job could be as simple as helping to pass out and collect binoculars.  If interested contact Alice at greenheron@sbcglobal.net
If you are interested in having your child test for the PUSD GATE program, please go to https://www.powayusd.com/en-US/Departments/Learning-Support/GATE/GATE-Testing-Information to enroll your child for testing. Some Sundance Parents have created a Facebook Page to help build more community within our school.  This group is not administered by the school in any way but provides a chance to connect with other Sundance Parents: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1456800417734747/
