ARRIVAL TO SCHOOL
  • I should not arrive at school in the morning before the first bell rings at 8:40 AM. If I am a few minutes early, I must remain at the front of the school, but I may not go on the playground.
  • I will line up with my class when the 8:55 bell rings. School begins at 9:00 and I am to be in my seat in class ready to start.
  • When walking to and from school it is important to follow all traffic rules. I should always walk across the street at a marked crossing or traffic light.
  • When I arrive at school after the bell rings, I should go directly to the playground using the front gate.
  • I may not go through the malls or classrooms on my way to theplayground. I should take all books and other items with me to the playground, not to my classroom.

DURING SCHOOL:
  • When at school, I should always stay on the sidewalks and NOT cut through planters and wood chips.
  • I will walk and use a quiet voice when in buildings and hallways. The hallways and mall areas are off limits to students during lunch and recess. Backpacks and lunch bags should be placed where your teacher picks your line up prior to coming into the classroom.
  • Play equipment is to be held while walking through the school. Please don't bounce balls in the hallways.
  • During damp and rainy weather, playground apparatus should not be used until dry.
  • I will have pride in my school by throwing trash in trashcans, using the restroom properly, and being polite to speakers or entertainers at school assemblies.
