New Student Enrollment

2020-21 New Student Enrollment: New Student Enrollment begins May 12, 2020.  Due to the emergency school closures, Poway Unified School District has updated the new student enrollment process for the 2020-2021 school year. While schools are closed, the enrollment process will be completed electronically. Click here enrollment: PUSD New Student Enrollment.   School Closure and COVID-19 Updates: Check out the May 14th Message.  VISIT PUSD CORONAVIRUS UPDATES PAGE  Schools and district offices will be closed until further notice to help slow the spread of COVID-19. There is important information regarding the end of the school year, including our decision not to physically reopen before June 11th, feedback on distance learning, graduation and promotion plans, and summer learning and childcare opportunities.

Library Book RETURN

We will still be collecting Library Books from the school each week. If you have a Painted Rock library book at home, you may come to the site on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon to drop off the books.  Bins will be located outside the front office. This is especially important for our students in 5th grade, as they need to be sure their books are turned in prior to the school year ending to not hold up getting their textbooks when they start middle school. Your child’s teacher has the names of all books that their students have checked out currently.

Attendance & Tardies

ATTENDANCE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES    Absence Hotline: 858-487-1180 x 4232      An important key to school success is making sure your child comes to school on time, each and every day.  School begins at 8:55 a.m. Students should line up in their class lines when the line-up bell rings at 8:50 a.m. so they can be in class, in their seat, ready to learn when school officially begins. If your child arrives to school late, he/she is required to come to the office for a late slip before going to class.
