Welcome to Creekside

Christine Donnelly, Principal

Dear Creekside Families,

Today’s students enjoy a future of amazing possibilities. Creekside provides an environment where school staff and parents successfully partner to prepare students with the academic and life skills  to move forward into such a future.  It is so cool to walk through the campus and classrooms and see the number of parents we have as volunteers who give of their time for all our students.

A brief biography: I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and a Masters in Educational Leadership. I joined PUSD as a student teacher in 1994 and have taught history, language arts, and yearbook.  I grew up in Michigan as the third of seven (yes, seven) children.  Thanks to my mother who led by example, I am a voracious reader and share that passion (and my books) with just about everyone in the school community!  Over the years I have learned much about the whole child and how important it is to really listen to students. Additionally, my personal experience as a parent of three has certainly influenced my work as an educator.

We are all very lucky to belong to the Creekside family.   What a wonderful environment for students – challenging, supportive, and built on kindness. I enjoy spending time with the students - both on the playground and in the classroom.  They are incredible human beings who will change the world.  The staff and I seek multiple ways to give students leadership opportunities because it is important for a student to feel connected with his/her school.

The Creekside teachers work hard to challenge every student, every day in a meaningful way. As the instructional leader of Creekside, my role is to support our teachers and the students.   I look forward to working with you to continue to provide our students with an outstanding educational experience. My door is always open to you.
