  1. Access through AT&T is offering low cost ($5-$10) internet services to eligible households. Those who are interested in having these in-home internet services and do not currently have AT&T internet should visit Access from AT&T - Discount Internet Access to complete an application, or call 855.220.5211 (English) or 855.220.5225 (Spanish) during Weekdays, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. ET or Saturday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET. 
  2. Spectrum has announced that they will be providing two months of free internet to eligible households who are not currently in service with Spectrum. Those who are interested in having these in-home internet services should call 1-844-488-8395 to enroll. https://www.internetessentials.com/covid19(requires a Social Security#)
  3. Xfinity WiFi Public Hotspots  - Free Access to Public Wifi .  All Xfinity WiFi Public Hotspots are now open to everyone on the “xfinitywifi” SSID (name of the Wifi-network). Public hotspots can be found in small/medium businesses and outdoors in commercial areas. For more information on available public hotspots visit https://wifi.xfinity.com/. Please enter your zip code to get locations near you and use the above password for the locations.
  4. Families w/ K-12 children who are eligible may receive free Cox Internet . Families with K-12 children who are eligible for the National School Lunch Program, SNAP, and/or TANF; who receive Tenant-Based Vouchers, Project-Based Vouchers or Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA); and/or who live in Public Housing all qualify. SDGE - Payment Help

Shutting Off Power: SDG&E knows that customers’ lives and income have been affected by this public health crisis, so SDG&E will not shut off service to customers with unpaid bills until further notice. 

Flexible Payment Plans: If you’re having trouble paying your energy bill, please call us at 1-800-411-7343 to work out a payment plan.

Late Payment Fees: SDG&E will not charge late payment fees for business customers whose finances have been hit by the coronavirus situation. SDG&E does not charge residential customers late payment fees.

Branch Offices/Payment Locations: At this time, branch offices are closed. Customers are encouraged to follow the order from authorities to remain at home. You can always pay your bill online via My Account.

San Diego Public Utilities Department 

Funded through charitable donations, the H2O SD Program helps qualified low-income customers with their water and wastewater utility bill. Qualifying residential customers may receive a credit up to $100 on their utility bill once in a 12-month period. Customers must reapply for subsequent years and meet all of the following criteria to receive Assistance:  httpHs://www.sandiego.gov/public-utilities/customer-service/h2osd 

State of California Executive Order - April 2, 2020  Executive Order N-42-20 protects consumers who may be unable to pay for water service during COVID-19 crisis. Water systems shall restore any residential service to occupied residences that has been discontinued for nonpayment since March 4, 2020.  There will be no discontinuation of service to any residence to business.

>The emergency law temporarily halts evictions in the City of San Diego from March 25 - May 31, 2020. Tenants must demonstrate a substantial decrease in income or medical expenses caused by COVID-19 in order to qualify.
