Homecoming Floatbuilding 2017

Our annual Homecoming float building will begin Monday, October 9th at 3:30 pm. Float building will happen Monday through Thursday after school until 8:30 pm. We are looking for parent support and help for all classes. If interested, please email shparker@powayusd.com.


Homecoming Dance 2017

ASB is excited to present Homecoming 2017 - "The Odyssey of a Lifetime". Our annual homecoming dance will be on Saturday, October 14th from 7:30 to 10:30 pm in our Wolverine Gymnasium. Tickets will go on sale Monday, September 18th. Ticket prices are $20 from 9/18-22, $23 from 9/25-29 and $25 from 10/2-10/13. Guest pases are available online or in the finance office. Tickets can also be purchased online through our webstore.

CSF

Please submit your Fall 2017 application for the California Scholarship Federation. We accept applications every Friday at lunch in Room G116 during the month of September. For more information, please click here or go to Room G116 and see the CSF table.


PSAT/NMSQT

This year the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) will be given on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the beginning of the school day. The assessment is free of charge for all 10th graders throughout the Poway Unified School District. 9th and 11th graders may register for the PSAT/NMSQT by paying at the Westview's Finance Office (cash or check), or the online Wolverine web store (credit card); the cost is $18.00 and is non-refundable.

College Math Classes after AP Calculus BC

Students may enroll in math courses, including Multivariable Calculus (Calculus III), Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations, and earn college credit via Palomar and UCSD. Offerings are for Summer, Fall and Spring and registration has begun for some of these courses already. Click here to view the details of these courses and instructions on registering. Online Mental Health Resource Center

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) developed their club website to include an online Mental Health Resource Center. The resource center has a variety of topics and then resources that can help an individual who wants more information about the topic and resources to get help.


Lost and Found Items

Lost and found items are located across from the security table near the front gates. Valuable items such as phones, ID cards, wallets, etc. will be given to the front desk. Reminder: Items left for students are the student's responsibility to pick up either at the front gate or the front desk.
