Continuing Student Registration for 2019-2020

SENIOR PORTRAITS

Class of 2020…It’s time for your Senior Portraits! Current juniors should schedule their senior portrait sitting NOW to be included in next year’s yearbook.  Only portraits taken by our official photographer, Visual Photography will be included in the book. Visual Photography offers a comprehensive selection of sessions from which to choose --from nominally-priced, more creative sessions to a basic courtesy session done on campus.  The families of future seniors received a brochure this week   (in the mail or through juniors’ homerooms).  You may also visit Visual Photography’s website http://www.visualphotography.com/ for information.

SUMMER WORK PERMITS

Students who are under 18 and have not received their diplomas will need a work permit to work over the summer.  Summer work permits will be issued in the PHS office until June 7.   From June 10 – August 20  you can obtain your work permit at the Career, Technical, and Adult Education (CTE) Office on Twin Peaks Road.   Click on the announcement for CTE information and office hours.

PUSD SMARTPHONE APP

We are rolling out a new option for you to be connected with Poway High School:  a free and convenient PUSD smartphone app. The app gives you the option of selecting Poway High School and any other schools your children attend.  You will receive push notifications from the school whenever there is an event or emergency message.  The app is a one-stop shop where you can also access school flyers, lunch menus, sports schedules and scores, and more.  Click to access an instructional video on downloading the PUSD app.
