  •   Words of Wisdom/Today's News

Good afternoon, Highland Ranch.  This is Mrs. Venolia with a few words of wisdom.

Remember the Ten Commandments of Human Relationships you read about yesterday? Here are the last five:

    6.   Be interested in others.
    7.   Be generous with compliments.
    8.   Be thoughtful of what others feel.
    9.   Be thoughtful of what others think.
    10. Be helpful.
Once again, these rules seem very simple, but we know that if we practiced them they would make a real difference in our lives and in the lives of other people. Always be caring, generous, thoughtful, and helpful toward others.Remember, simple ideas can produce the greatest results.

With something to think about, this is  Mrs. Venolia. Make it a great day . . . or not. The choice is yours.

    Hello Stallions!

*Please come support our last HRES PTA Restaurant Fundraiser of our school year!*

Panera Bread will be graciously hosting an ALL DAY (6am-9pm) Fundraiser for our school on Monday, June 1 in honor of our graduating fifth graders. We ask that we try our best to reserve the 8:30am-1pm window for our fifth grade families that will be participating in their drive by promotion parade.

All other HRES Families are welcome to support our fundraiser outside those hours if possible as not to overcrowd Panera. Please make sure to show the digital flyer on your phone (attached) or enter in “PRFUND” at online checkout in order for our school to receive a portion of the proceeds.

Thank you so much for your support! It all goes directly back to our students and our school!

TODAY'S UPDATES FROM PUSD - Dr. Phelps sent an email today with important news about school closure (a copy is attached).  Please note that Chrome books that were borrowed for this trimester may be used by student this summer if a student is going to a Poway School next year.  If a student is moving from a Poway Unified School,  the Chrome book must be returned to Highland Ranch before June 12th.   Please contact Mrs. Venolia at if you would like to return your device or if you are moving and are required to return your device.
