A WORD FROM ADMINISTRATION
3rd Quarter Report Cards Sent Home this Week
|| NO SCHOOL - Spring Break
Your student should have brought home a paper copy of his/her 3rd
quarter report card. Please check Synergy Gradebook or MyConnect for more details about points on assignments, etc. and email teachers with any questions. We have 8 more weeks of school to accomplish end of the year goals.
Bobcat Behavior Assemblies
Students will attend Bobcat Behavior Assemblies the week after break. We will address the following key behavioral expectations during the assembly:
Smarter Balanced Assessments
- Positive Language
- No Horseplay
- Dress Code Reminders
- Tattling v. Reposting
Students across California in grades 3–8 and high school take these assessments each spring to gauge each student’s performance in English language arts/literacy (ELA), mathematics, and science. These tests measure the skills called for by the California academic standards, which focus on a student’s ability to write clearly, think critically, and solve problems. Our testing window will be 4/16-5/9. Student will take the ELA portion in their Language Arts classes and math in their math classes.
See attached letter for more information.
