Science Fair

We are pleased to announce the Highland Ranch Science Fair and Exhibition, to be held on Friday, March 24th 5:00-7:30 p.m. in the MPR. Get ready and register. All students are invited to participate and all families are invited to attend the event! Students may work on an individual project, or work with a partner or small group to plan, conduct, and present the findings of a science investigation and/or experiment. Students may also choose to exhibit a science collection (e.g. rocks) or other project that communicates what they know about their subject to the audience. Please plan accordingly, by completing the online registration as soon as possible and NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MARCH 10th!How to Get Started: Don’t wait! Start now by reading RULES on the HRES website, getting teacher and parent approval, and taking advantage of resources such as the school library, your teachers, and your parents to help brainstorm project ideas.Students: Choose a topic that is truly interesting to you! The work must be SAFE, so parents are required to supervise and monitor any safety hazards. Parents are encouraged to help you, but you should be doing most of the work. Integrated Preschool Opportunity

Poway Unified School District is pleased to offer an Integrated Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Preschool Program for the 2017-2018 school year. The classrooms are located at Deer Canyon and Pomerado Elementary Schools. The program serves 3 to 5 year old children with and without special needs.


New Student/ Continuing Student Enrollment

New Student Enriollment/Continuing Student Enrollment will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 2:30-6:00 in the MPR. For New Student Enrollment:  You may download the forms after May 1st, please bring completed forms and the the following:  copies and originals of birth certificate or passport, immunization record and two proofs of residency. For Continuing Student Enrollment:  Please bring the Signature Verification form for Grades 1-5 and for Grade 4 the Health Form


TK/Kindergarten Enrollment

TK/Kindergarten enrollment will be held on Thursday, May 4th, 2017 from 2:30-6:00 pm in the MPR. You can download the forms after May 1st.  Bring the completed forms, copies and originals of the following:  two proofs of residency, birth certificate or passport and immunization records.If you have questions regarding immunizations, please check the Poway Unified School District Website for requirements.


TK/Kindergarten Parent Night

Date change for parent information night, TK/Kindergarten Parent Information Night will be Thursday, April 20th at 6:00 in the MPR.
