IMPORTANT

State Assessments (SBAC)  Math

Monday, May 8th- Wednesday, May 10th, 2017, for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.

  • We want our students to do their best and show all they have learned.

  • Please make sure they get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy and hearty breakfast.

  • Please make sure they come to school on time.(Between 7:40 a.m. and 7:55 a.m.

  • SBAC Testing make-ups continue until Friday, May 12th.

 

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

Monday, May 8th – Friday, May 12th

We are very excited to recognize and highlight our wonderful GRES staff.

They work so hard to support each and every one of our students.

Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring a staff luncheon on Friday, and to all the room parents for helping our staff feel special and appreciated.

Calling all Kindergarteners, Transitional Kindergartners, and New Students

Enrollment:

  • Download forms on the PUSD Website

  • Go to New Student Registration 2107-2018

  • Forms will be available on May 1st, 2017

  • Bring in all forms for registration

    • Original Birth Certificate

    • Up-to-date shot records

    • 2 Proofs of your current residence

    • We want to reserve a spot for our local neighbors.There are class caps and cut offs.

5th Grade Band and Orchestra Students

  • Concert: Tuesday, May 23rdat 6:30 p.m.

 

ELL Students and Families

  • Parents of students who speak a language other than English at home are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 24, from 8:00-8:30 a.m. in Room 7.

  • Our ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee) will be meeting, and it will be a good opportunity for parents and staff to share ideas and information.
